Lobster love greetings card

£3.00

Lobster love is as free as the ocean. Inspired by Phoebe from Friends’ remark about finding your lobster this greetings card dispels the myth that lobsters mate for life. Instead, they have an intriguing free love approach to mating... A humorous Valentine’s, anniversary or wedding card. Part of the zoology collection.

Front:Lobster love is as free as the ocean
Inside: Blank
Back: “Lobsters aren’t monogamous, rather they are serial monogomists with each relationship lasting around two weeks. The mating ritual is strange. Female lobsters court the most aggressive alpha male lobster by peeing arousing pheromones at him! Once a female makes it into his lair, she sheds her shell before they copulate. After two weeks her shell has regrown and the relationship ends ready for a new female to try out her seducing pheromones.”
